MY STORY

Katherine Staples makes abstract sculptures in clay from her studio at Wymondham Windmill. She completed her BA Design Crafts at De Montfort University where she discovered her love for ceramics. She went on to complete her MA in Studio Ceramics at Loughborough University.
Inspired predominantly by the sea, ultimately aiming to capture the movement of water in the medium of clay. Sculptures and wall pieces are made for galleries and can also be commissioned to suit clients requirements. Sculptures can be seen in Katherine Staples Gallery which adjoins the clay studio.
Katherine makes her sculptures whilst teaching others to enjoy making with clay in the studio.
